United Baristas Store Terms & Conditions of Sale

Shipping Destinations

United Baristas primarily sells to United Kingdom and European Union addresses. We may be able to ship select items to key international destinations.

These terms and conditions apply to orders placed both through the online shop and confirmed through other channels, such as email.

For full information on delivery destinations, methods and time frames, as well as our return and exchange process, for items purchased through United Baristas Store please read our Deliveries, Exchanges & Returns information. Automated communications and customer service assistance are provided in English.

Taxes & Duties

VAT is applied to relevant products on orders to the UK destinations. You will automatically be emailed a VAT receipt.

For destinations outside of the UK, we may be able to sell products excluding VAT. Any VAT charges are clearly shown at checkout. However, import duties might apply on the product’s entry into the destination country. You are responsible for all import duties, taxes and any administration charges. These charges vary by country and we recommend you contact your local customs office for specific information.


United Baristas takes out insurance for products in transit until it is delivered to you. At this point responsibility for your items passes to you. If you are not the receiver of your purchase  for example, in the case of a gift order  then the person who receives the package at the delivery address is responsible for the items.

If your items are damaged in transit, please contact us.


You are able to cancel your order any time up to the point of shipping for a full refund. To cancel your order, please email us. If your item(s) have already been dispatched, you may have the options to return the item under the relevant returns policy.


If you are not satisfied with your purchase, it may be possible to return the item(s) for exchange or a refund. Items must be returned to us in saleable condition within 14 days of delivery with a copy your receipt. Please read the Exchange and Return Process, which form part of these terms and conditions for items purchased on United Baristas Store.

Most sales on Equipment Store are commercial sales. These sales are not returnable for either for exchange or refund. Sometimes, we are able to facilitate a buy-back as part of a sale to an alternate consumer. An alternative option is for you to sell any unwanted items on Marketplace.

Any refund will be issued to your original payment method within 14 days of receipt. We are commonly able to process refunds in five working days.

Please note that we are not able to refund or credit additional shipping charges and that we are only able to accept returns of food items if they are defective. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Personal Information

When you purchase items in our online shop, we gather information about you to process and fulfil your order. This information is gathered and stored in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Payments and finance

For payments processed by Stripe, as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay

United Baristas does not store your debit or credit card information. If you opt to store your card details at checkout they are securely stored on Stripe’s servers. Please be aware that transactions are subject to Stripe’s terms and conditions and that Stripe may collect and store personal information about you. For information on Stripe’s terms and privacy policy, please refer to their website. Apple Pay and Google Pay payments processed on Stripe’s services and are subject to Stripe’s terms as well as Apple’s and Google’s respective terms and policies.

For financing provided by Mondu

United Baristas acts as a credit broker, not a lender and only offers credit products for UK registered coffee companies on select products listed on United Baristas Equipment Store or by arrangement.

Transactions are subject to Mondu GmbH’s terms and conditions and Mondu GmbH may collect and store personal information about you. For information on Mondu GmbH’s terms and privacy policy, please refer to their website.

There is no guarantee that all companies are eligible for finance nor that a company will remain eligible for financing even if they have already been previously offered finance.

When you arrange finance the company is liable for the total debt. You should only enter into finance arrangements if you are confident of being able to make the scheduled repayments.
