We’re bringing the coffee community together

Improvements to the Coffee Events Calendar as United Baristas launches v2

We’ve introduced a completely new version of the Coffee Events Calendar to United Baristas. It’s now easier to find the events you want to attend, more straightforward to add your coffee event and much better looking. For example, here’s some of the upcoming events.

The first thing you might notice is that it’s no longer a calendar. Instead the new design allows events to be filtered by type, location and date. It’s so much easier to use than having to scroll through month-by-month. We saw that coffee people were looking for specific events to attend; rather than having a gap in their schedule that they wanted to fill. We hope you like the new design and features.

If you use United Baristas Market, you’ll now love the process of adding and updating coffee events. We’ve taken the tried-and-true United Baristas Market platform and customised it. You can more easily add an event, manage all your events in your account and readily update an event when things change.

It’s time to socialise with Midnight Oil

Basic event listings on the Coffee Events Calendar are free thanks to the support of Midnight Oil.

Midnight Oil is a staple in our drinks cabinet thanks to its coffee-forward flavour. Made from coffee grown at the Daterra Estate, Brazil, the team at Climpson & Sons carefully add cacao and vanilla to create a coffee liqueur that’s both suitable for classic coffee cocktails – or dare to create your own serve.

Basic listings are ideal for letting the coffee community know your event is coming up. Event organisers can also opt to feature or promote their event across United Baristas. These listing plans are designed for ticketed events where you need to direct attendees to purchase tickets. You can direct people straight to your online store or a ticketing platform (such as Eventbrite) from your Coffee Events Calendar listing. And, of course, there are no commissions or additional fees when people purchase tickets.

All events have the option to add images and video. Plus we’ve added event ‘statuses’, so you can easily let people know if your event is:

  • Scheduled
  • Rescheduled
  • Tentative / TBC
  • Postponed
  • Moved Online, or
  • Cancelled

Let’s get everyone together

There are so many great events happing across the coffee community and the team at United Baristas is enjoying seeing so many of you face-to-face again. We hope to meet you at events this year. You can find events you want to attend on the Coffee Events Calendar.
