Introducing the new UB-iD experience

UB-iD is the secure passport, which allows you to log in to United Baristas services. The new UB-iD experience is easier to use and even more secure.

When you sign up or log in to your United Baristas account, you use our super-secure UB-iD. Many of you won’t have noticed UB-iD before because you only use it for a second. However, there are some important changes we want you to note.

New secure URL

When signing up or logging in to a United Baristas service, you are now automatically use the new UB-iD on the sub-domain id.unitedbaristas.com. Once you have successfully logged in, you’ll automatically be redirected back to the United Baristas service you are using.

New password option

The new UB-iD allows you set a password for use with your email address. If you have not created password before, you’ll be required to do so when you next logging in to a United Baristas service.

Google or Facebook account

You can continue to log in with your Google or Facebook account. And you can log into the same United Baristas account using your Google account, Facebook account, or email address, as long as they share the same email.

Transitioning to the new UB-iD experience

The new UB-iD is currently in use for:

  • United Baristas
  • United Baristas Jobs
  • United Baristas Store

Most users will automatically be able to use the new UB-iD. Some will be required to change their password.

Misc

  • The old experience of UB-iD is being retired
  • Some users of the old UB-iD may encounter a known issue when logging in using a Safari browser
