Advertising Options

Banner Advertising

United Baristas displays adverts on both desktop and mobile devices. Advertisers should supply two versions of their ads. The size of the advert served is dependent on the device it is being viewed on.

  • Mobile display notational advert size: 800 (w) x 740 (h) px
  • Other devices notional advert size: 1280 (w) x 300 (h) px

Banner Advertising Seasons

United Baristas Workshop has three default advertising seasons:

  • February – May
  • June – September
  • October – January

The minimum standard booking is for at least one season. However advertisers can benefit from a discounted rates and protection against future rate increases by booking space for 12 months in advance.

Full details are in the Rate Card.
Campaigns that don’t fall into the above seasons are best run under the promotional banner advertising option.

Promotional Banner Advertising

We offer promotional advertising for advertisers seeking intensive, time-limited, geographically-defined, device-targeted or custom sized banners.

Examples of promotional banner advertising include:

  • Intensive: campaigns that require a higher display rate or outright purchase of a position
  • Time limited: campaigns with start or end dates that don’t coincide with our advertising seasons
  • Geographically defined: define by country or city level
  • Device targeted: target adverting by device (mobile, tablet, desktop) or mobile operating system (iOS, Android)
  • Custom size: banners of different sizes
